But like I stated in my last post, it's just not that easy in his heat. I'm hoping by next month that things will cool down and I'll be able to drag my sewing supplies up from our guest berth to the salon area without having to wring the sweat out of my clothes.
It would be nice if I could just leave this stuff out all the time but this is where we eat and also (after the table is stowed away) where we sleep.
Of course I wouldn't be able to sew at all without my little helper.
Actually I'm just waiting for him to have one of his crazy dreams and knock that support right out from under my table.
I'm hoping tomorrow is a bit cooler and hope to actually have something to show for my efforts.

I agree, it's next to impossible to want to handle fabric or tissue when it's hot. And isn't it a treat to have a helper, not just for sewing but for so many other of life's projects. He's a cutie.
Hey girl! I know exactly what you mean...hopefully, you'll get some nicer weather soon so you can sew to your heart's content. And I agree with Jane...you couldn't have a cuter helper!
I AM going to write soon....just haven't had much time lately. But I haven't forgotten you!
XOXO,
Cyndi
Jane, Wilbur helps me with everything! I don't know how I would ever go get ice, the mail, or do laundry without him tagging along. And I have no idea how I would ever sleep without him kicking and digging me all night long!
Cyndi, I swear it gets hotter every day and tomorrow is the first day of fall. And yes, I'm waiting for that letter!!
Laura, We are in Clearwater. I will be in St. Pete near the pier on Saturday, 09/24, for a flea market/craft sale, where my Mother lives. Contact me and we can get together!
Carolyn
Carolyn, I love flea markets. We'll see what we can come up with.
