New York City

That's where I am right now folks!
Believe it or not.
I've never been here before and I very well may never get here again so tomorrow I'm going to take a stab at hitting the fabric (or garment) district.

We flew right over the Statue of Liberty which was really pretty exciting as I try never to look out the window of a plane.

Anyway, I have absolutely no sense of direction so God only knows where I'll end up.
Wish me luck!!

How cool, Laura! I have been to New York a few times and enjoyed it each time. There is always something to see and do. I hope you have a great time - especially in that fabric, er, garment district! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

P.S. Who is taking care of Wilbur?

You will be fine. Enjoy your time there. BTW, it is still in the 80s here.

Cyndi, I plan on seeing as much as I can while I'm here, tomorrow I'm going to try to get down to Rockerfeller Plaza where they tape the Today Show (look out Matt Lauer!!). And since we can't trust Wilbur to behave himself and not throw wild parties with Mr. Boots the marina cat, we put him in doggy day care. He's stayed there before and has an absolute blast.

Carolyn, I hope I'll be fine, I can get lost in buildings let alone cities. And it's actually quite warm here like 60 degrees but of course it's raining. And my coat is perfect. Hans wants to get a picture of me in it!

Laura - glad the coat is working out. Mark & I both said it was meant for you and we are so happy you have it. Yes, Hans need to snap a photo!
